Brachetto d'Acqui DOCG

In Italy, there are only three types of Brachetto d'Acqui DOCG wines:

• Brachetto d'Acqui

• Brachetto d'Acqui spumante

• Brachetto d'Acqui passito

The wines must be produced in the homonymous production area, which has its name derived from Acqui Terme, a town in Piedmont between the provinces of Alessandria and Asti.

Guyot training is the most popular method of training, which produces grapes of high quality due to its contained vigor.

Because Brachetto is an aromatic vine, it transmits the aromas of ripe grapes to the wine, which is known as varietal aromas.

It manifests itself as musky notes, characteristic of vines, sometimes accompanied by tertiary aromas of vanilla and toasting.

The colour of Brachetto is a light ruby red, sometimes tinted pink. There is a delicate and soft taste to it on the palate.
