The search for quality doesn't happen by accident; it is a conscious decision. This pursuit lies at the core of the Cusumano farm, founded in 2001 by brothers Alberto and Diego Cusumano in Partinico, Sicily. Their goal was to create remarkable wines that possess a distinctive character and reflect the unique characteristics of the region.

Two essential elements were crucial in achieving this level of excellence: selecting vineyard sites that are conducive to grape cultivation and the meticulous and unwavering efforts of the Cusumano family in both the vineyard and the cellar. Throughout this journey, an oenologist provided guidance, overseeing the transformation of their wines from simple to complex, ultimately resulting in bottles with their own distinct personality and character.

Cusumano: Sicily's Winemaking Heritage

For years, the Cusumano family explored Sicily in search of the most suitable areas for planting their vineyards, ensuring that only the finest locations were chosen. Presently, Cusumano winery exclusively produces wines from their own grapes, which are sourced from meticulously selected vineyards situated in exceptional areas such as Ficuzza, Butera, Monreale, Etna (between Castiglione di Sicilia, Randazzo, and Linguaglossa), Alta Mora, and Calatafimi.

The second stroke of luck came in the form of a friendship between Diego Cusumano and Mario Ronco, a skilled and experienced oenologist from Piedmont. Mario Ronco proved to be an ideal choice, collaborating with the Cusumano family since the winery's inception in February 2001. Together, they have played a significant role in establishing Cusumano as a prominent name in the global wine industry.

Over the course of less than twenty years, Cusumano estate has experienced continuous growth and expansion, all while never compromising their pursuit of excellence. They have successfully crafted an extensive range of labels, including renowned Cusumano wines such as Agimbè, Benuara, Cubìa, Jalé, Sàgana, and Moscato dello Zucco. However, the red Sicilia Doc Noà wine distinguishes itself as a warm, well-balanced, and enduring wine. It serves as a testament to the remarkable qualities this region has to offer.
